As i write this i am sat at the mother-in-laws watching the children play! Oh to be a kid again!

The innocent imagination and how small things are pure entertainment. When did being an 'adult' make things boring?

I just watched them play in a tent and put a small table on there and play sweet restaurant!

Right now they are bouncing on a trampoline! Oh to be a kid again!

Being an adult is so boring! You have to supervise and make sure the kids are ok.
However really i want to play sweet shops and jump on a trampoline!

I wish i could be a kid again for a day when putting some cushions on the floor and finding different ways to jump on them. Making hours pass with a blink of eye!

Not only that but raiding the sweet cupboard is more then acceptable especially as we are at the kids nannas!

In fact being a kid and going to your grandparents. Where mum and dads rules no longer apply!! Oh to be a kid again!

Its friday again which means the fun fact of the week. To be fair there has been so many hilarious silly moments. Me and the kids have had a crazy silly week.

However today it must be the walk home from nursery. We all know the journey home, espcially when walking, is boring and, well quite stressful. The kids are normally tired from running round all morning, and the parents want to click their fingers and be home.

So to make it at little bit more tolerable, we made a game up. We did our usual walk like a ninja (you walk very slow and quietly) then you run. But to make it more intersting after the running bit we have to hop, then jump, then spin around, then touch your toes and, then your nose.
It was so much fun and we were home in no time due to the running!

The looks i got from other people though, were priceless! Didn't bother me if i looked silly, the eldest boy loved it and the youngest was fast asleep in his pushchair!

Friday Fun Fact

Well this week started out well and then Wednesday came around and the snot and coughing returned to my eldest. It is amazing how much mucus a small child can produce, within a matter of hours.

So apart from my two boys going through their little fighting and hugging thing that they seem to do all the time. I tell them to be careful and not to be to rough, then they go and hug it out!

This is actually the moment of my week. Here it has been raining a lot. On Monday i think it rained all day, so i went and picked up my eldest up from nursery. I was cold and very wet, so what do you do on a 20 minute walk home in the cold and the rain with a 4 year old?

You jump in ALL of the puddles big or small and the deeper the better! My son said to me 'oh no mummy my trousers are all wet' so we jumped in a bigger puddle and drenched the both of us!

I did however get a few different looks from other people. It was either people smiling wishing they could do the same or, it was people looking at me like I'm crazy jumping in puddles, well until they see I'm with my son.

It was good to have fun like i was a child to be carefree and trying to jump in the puddles first, my son is to fast and beat me all the time!

So when you are out next i dare you jump in a few puddles, it will be the best fun you have had in a while! Just maybe only do it on the way home....might be an explanation you do not want to tell your boss!
